Yeoubi Hotel

I was on a last minute business trip to Busan and was able to find this gem that is located right next to the station. It was around 50 USD that included more than I bargained. Clean sheets, bubble bath, couch and a large room. Highly recommend if you are on a budget!

My boyfriend and I stayed at Yeoubi hotel during the June long weekend on Saturday (They spell it "Yeow-b" on the building). It's located very close to the beach (about a 5-10 minute walk or so). When you walk into the lobby there is coffee and bread laid out to eat when you like, which I thought was great. The room itself is beautiful, although it could be lit better. It looked like it had been cleaned well. We arrived back at the hotel around 3AM and wanted to wash up before bed. My boyfriend tried using the shampoo but nothing was coming out, even though we felt the bottle and it definitely wasn't empty. When he opened it, we found a condom stuck in the tube. We went down to the front desk immediately to complain. The man there was polite but spoke very little English. We had to call a translation service to understand each other. Initally, he said all he could do was give us a new shampoo bottle. We asked if there was anything else he could do and he said no. We then asked for our money back and he said this wasn't possible since it had been over an hour since we checked in. He finally made another call to the hotel owner, who authorized a full refund (around $200 for the night). However, we had to leave the hotel at 4AM. Being the long weekend, everywhere else was fully booked and we were unable to find another place to stay. We had to take the first train out of Busan and sacrificed an entire day of our vacation.

It's a newer building, very neat and clean rooms. Staff hardly speaks any english, howeever, if you are like me, just looking for a comfortable no-frills room for the night, this hotel is for you. Just a short walk from the beach.
