Last I skied was 25 years ago and it did not end well. So it was natural I was hesitant to join the skiing group but the alternative was to sleep longer. A hardly worthwhile choice.
After a short briefing by the tour leader, we were sent on our way and I was surprised I still got the moves after so long. I did not fall even once during the 2-hour session.
Time flew so fast and we had to check out from the hotel and move on to the next itinerary in another city.
I thoroughly enjoyed skiing here and am thinking of coming again on my own as the cost is relatively reasonable.
Come earlier in the morning as the ski equipment rental queue started to build up as we finished at 11 am. There's also risk of losing out on the lockers due to the high volume of visitors.

We arrived with a shuttle bus from Seoul before noon. Unfortunately check in is only available at 4pm. Compare to other hotels and probably due to the huge amount of guests, the hotel doesn’t offer early check in or luggage storage for free. You can take a locker for either 1000 or 2000 KRW.
Staff is very polite and trying to be helpful but sometimes language barriers avoid clear and easy communication which is really the main comment I have.
I guess for someone who can read & communicate in Korean, it’s a straight forward place. Very simple accommodation, clean, serves the purpose and what ever you missing you probably can ask for it.
It started with Check in, where the main task got done, we got our room key. But nothing was really explained like vouchers (I guess?!) which were in the keycard folder but all written in Korean.
Room was way too hot, even with minus temperatures outside, but when I called nobody really could answer me but I guessed the answer was similar to what I read on other reviews.
Same with the bath towels. Just come in hand towel size.
Overall it serves the purpose for having a place to sleep when you want to go skiing but I think the management could help foreign guests and staff with more bi-lingual messages, collaterals etc to have a smoother experience

Stayed from a sunday to wednesday. There were many activities on sunday but we did not go sking - too much crowd. Went on a weekday instead. Slopes were better but shops did not open until much later due to lack of crowd.
Resort had a very wide range of shops and activities e.g. bowling, billard, table tennis, arcade, sauna, PC game room, bumper car, food courts, cafe, restaurants and many more.
Apartments were huge (sonebelle B) with 2 rooms (1 with bed and other traditional bedding on floor). Kitchen was simple but very clean, new and well equipped for us to cook up simple meals. Supermarket had a lot of ready made to cook packages, some meat and vege. On weekends, there were roasted chicken etc.
Apartment floor heating was a little too hot for us. So we had to open the windows slightly (not exactly environmentally friendly, but we were really very warm).
Towels are very small. Basic shower and shampoo available. No cleaning service throughout our stay. So we brought our own rubbish out.
But nevertheless, a good stay!
