We stayed in ondol room. I could spend comfortably with soft warmth. Shower toilets are popular in hotels in Korea, but it is also the best if installed in this hotel too. There is a cheap and delicious pork barbecue shop nearby, at a distance that you can walk to the market. It is recommended.

The lobby was beautiful! Clean and elegant! Very nice facility! Our room is a little small and a bit 'aged' :) but it was comfortable! My suggestion is bring a socket converter if you have the American three prong socket to plug in your laptop or cellphone charger. And don't over load the circuit because it might cause a black out in your room lol!! Easily fixed by the hotel technician though. No big deal. All 220V, no 120V so be advised. The A/C wasn't working as good because the room felt a little warm even if we tried to get the thermostat level to 25 degrees celsius. On a positive note, plenty of parking in the basement. No ramp though so if you have a person on wheelchair, let them get off the lobby then catch the elevator to get to their room. Nice view of Daegu at night from our room! All in all, me and my parents had a nice stay at Prince Hotel in Daegu.

Hotel lobby looks shiny and modern but the rooms are old and shabby. No gym, no laundry service, no irons available. No English cable news channels (ie CNN / BBC / Fox). No hot water in the mornings - lukewarm at best. Holes in wall with wires sticking out. Guests are made to pay their entire hotel bill upfront - probably so you can’t / don’t change your mind. Hotel is 5 minutes walk from the Myeongdeok subway station but not very convenient to the main restaurant/shopping area in Daegu. Would not recommend this hotel.
