Shin Yang Park

I've stayed in this hotel on two occasions. Our room was notably nicer the second stay, with a modern bathroom and updated interior. The room size is larger than average, though it is a bit far from the city center. Perfect for those wanting a quiet place for a good night's sleep. I found the beds to be very comfortable, and above all, the room was clean. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Nice views of the city, as well.

The hotel is situated about 2miles away from downtown Gwanju, which is about 5000 won in a taxi. The rooms are quite spacious, ours had a double and a single bed, the beds were extremely hard, there is plenty of storage space. The bathroom was decent and clean. The room was starting to show signs of wear. The internet was really bad! It took ages to load facbook, twitter etc. The food in the restaurants was decent, but after 8 days of eating it, it became quite boring. Very good views of Gwanju from the restaurants on the top floor,

The service we got when we arrived was par to none...they treated us like royalty ...we had supper in their steak restaurant and it was delicious ...the bed was a little uncomfortable ...I didn't mind it but my honey did...the view was spectacular ....bring on the rest of the day !!!
