Ulrung Dae A Resort

Uleung-do is a scenic island and this hotel offers a place to relax where you can continue to take in the beauty of the island from the balcony of your room. Its Korean style, simple accommodations with floor mats for sleeping but has everything you need. A pleasant stay.

This is supposedly the best hotel on Ulleungdo, but is grossly overpriced for what it offers (you can find much better motels in Pohang). Rooms in the Annex are small, old, and smelly, with bathrooms of questionable cleanliness. The main building is better but even there the plumbing is a bit haphazard. Purely korean-style "breakfast", which is not for everybody, but food at lunch and dinner was ok. No WiFi in the conference room, so bear this in mind if you are planning a workshop or professional meeting there.
