The village has really nice setup. BBQ facility and a small field for games. Good for family and kids. Problem is their room. We had a duplex unit but the power supply kept tripping. Informed the staff , who can't speak a word of english, as we could hardly sleep in the first night. The room was warm n stuffy ( even though we opened up the windows). We finally found out that it was due to the Aircon. The staff implied to us that they will call for technician. The following nite, the same thing happened. It was really warm in the nite, our kids cried. I had no choice but to wake up the staff. He just smiled and gave me a small fan. We had the fan for the next 2 nites, because whenever we approached them, they politely smiled back. It seemed that it was a known problem to them, in the first place. Just don't understand why they rent it to us in the first place.

We are a famiiy of 4 adults and the Jazz Village which has numerous room configurations was suitable. We had a 2 room apartment that comes with a kitchen. Jazz Village has a country side feel to it. The rooms are all made of wood. Jazz Village is just off the main road number 1132. It is near to Jungmun and by car is about 8 minutes drive. However it is not near a town so a car is a must. There is a G25 convenience store within the village, but there is no cafe. The room rate does not include breakfast but with a kitchen in the room it's not a problem. Checking in was easy, however the staffs do not speak English and further communication was a problem. The website is all in Korean but I booked it directly with them after a phone call and through e mails. A staff who answered my call spoke some simple English. Free wifi and free use of their computer is available at the reception area. There is no wifi in the room but there is a LAN cable. Overall I have no issues with the Jazz Village and will consder to saty here again.

My wife, son and I took a 5 day holiday in Jeju and stayed in 2 hotels. Jazz Village, classified as a pension house, was one of the hotels we stayed in. We are very satisfied and happy with the services they provided. I knew about this hotel through Trip Advisor. I went to their website, but is in Korean. I got in touch with the manager, Mr. S.W. Lee, who could speak some English. The room rate was very reasonable. The room sure gave us a very good first impression. The place looked wooden, new, clean and spacious. It has high ceiling and a nice kitchen, with the necessary cutlery and untensils. The outside environment was liven by the jazz music. Beside Mr. Lee, a couple of the staff could also speak simple English. They were friendly and courteous. The hotel is by a small road adjacent to route 1132, about 10 minutes west of Jungmun Resort. Please note that the major road numbering has changed from 2 digits to 4 digits. There is a brown sign, indicating the hotel location, at the T junction. The Jazz Village owners have just set up a restaurant opposite that T junction, serving the Jeju delicacy, the BBQ black pig. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal. We chose to drive, as it gave us alot of flexiblity, and there are English road signs leading us to places of interest and around. By the Kiasu (Scared to Lose) Singaporeans
