Jeju Hawaii Hotel

We stayed here for three nights as part of a tour, and we were very satisfied. The breakfast buffet is much larger than "free breakfast" motels in the U.S., and it has all sorts of Korean dishes. They're mostly things you wouldn't think about eating for breakfast, but we enjoyed everything we tried. Another reviewer complained about the instant coffee, but it tasted pretty good to me. From what I've seen, Koreans mostly drink instant coffee. Even at a local grocery store, there's only one or two types of coffee beans but numerous kinds of 3-in-1 instant coffee. The hotel's location doesn't look that great, but there are several fried chicken places around and it's just a few blocks to a modern fashion shopping district. Our room was big, cool enough, and comfortable, and they put two complimentary bottles of water in the fridge each day. The pillow was a little hard for my taste, but I still slept well.

Check in staff was efficient and alert and very helpful. Room was of reasonable size for the price which is acceptable. Bed and pillow was comfortable. Breakfast was fine and acceptable. Location of the hotel is good. Good stay

The hotel is 40 years old, unbearable - rooms smell with mosquitoes. The bathroom is awful. Instant coffee is served for breakfast, but the others food are acceptable. Guests are mainly local elderly, not recommended for foreign tourists.
