I booked this through agoda thinking its an actual hotel but it was actually a self-service stay, meaning something more of a bnb. I have to say it was disappointing as at this price point, i could have stayed at an actual hotel with a lift. Yes, you read it right, it has 3 levels and no lift. They send you check in passwords and you move in yourself. I booked the duplex thinking it would be a nice experience but it was still just a tiny space. Overall, i will not be back. I stay away from airbnb for a reason and if i had known this was a self-service stay, i would have avoided. It is stated right at the bottom of the “ad” in agoda, which i totally did not see so hope this will inform future customers. They provide liquid soaps and 2 bottles of water but only 4 hand towels. Yup, we have 4 hand towels to dry up after a shower. Why no bath towels? I do not know.

I came to this hotel based on recommendation of an acquaintance and my expectations had been quite high. The hotel is pricy and offers great views, also it's located conveniently near a bus stop. If you get a room with a view you can indeed chill or relax in the hotel restaurant. Unfortunately, the whole experience got spoiled by a staff member who first argued with us that we did not mention our toddler in the booking which is normally not a problem in every other hotel as we don't require any extra bed or extra space for him. Apparently it was a problem in this hotel. Secondly, and this is the reason for the negative review, when our boy cried at the breakfast (kids do cry sometimes, don't they?) we were told to shut him up. This has never happened to us before in any restaurant in the world, neither while travelling nor in our home city. Hence I do not recommend this place for families with small children. Maybe it's great for couples though but still a bit pricy and we were able to find much better value for money elsewhere in Jeju.
