StayInJeju

A hidden gem just south of Hallasan, near Jungmun Resort and a short 10 minute walk to the nearest beach. Booked a stay on Airbnb and had zero regrets. The view from our apartment was absolutely amazing. We woke up to sunrises and could even see stars at night. On lucky mornings, we would spot horses in the nearby fields. Breakfast is provided by the accommodation and basic, but very homely. The Korean option provided was abalone porridge, served with some anchovies, pickles and homemade yogurt. The international option had toasts and an egg, served with homemade yogurt and some salad. Great way to start the day! Parking is available onsite and is complimentary. Hosts are very warm and hospitable. Basic cleaning is done daily so towels are replaced, and trash thrown out. Beds are also made everyday. The property is located in a quiet area that is slightly challenging to get to, without a car, but is otherwise perfect for a peaceful and restful getaway.

When we arrived at the Jeju airport, we contacted Andrew and he told us what bus stop to get off at after taking the airport bus to Seogwipo. He met us at the stop and then drove us to Stay In. He gave us a map in English and pointed out some points of interest. He also, told us the bus # to the ones we were interested in and pointed out the bus stop while we were on the way to the apartment. Loved the heated floors in the room, the soft mattress (in Seoul we had 1 week of hard ones), the view from our balcony, modern style bathroom, and small kitchen. We used the table one night and sat on the mattress for a quick dinner after a late night out. Also, the tangerine season was in October and there are groves on the property. We didn't have the chance to pick any, but we were offered the chance to do so. When we were a little behind for when we had planned to head to the bus for a day tour, Andrew gave us a ride to the bus stop himself. There is also a continental breakfast provided. You choice of Korean or American style. The American breakfast has eggs, toast, fruit, sausage, and hash browns. The day before we departed, Andrew asked us when our flight departure time was. He gave us ride to the bus stop so we could catch our airport bus. There was shared laundry, but we didn't use. Too bad it was unusually cold in October because the beach was 10 minutes away walk. Free wifi in your room too. Our room was on the first floor and just steps from the breakfast room. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay at Andrew's place and would recommend if visiting Jeju Island. Thank you Andrew for being so warm and helpful to us and making us feel welcome during our stay.

We love everything in Stay in Jeju very much.... cosy and family friendly place, warmth service received from the owner, Andrew and not forgetting their breakfast! Their breakfast is divine! This is a place that make you feel home! Wish to come back soon!
