The Seri Resort

As the title says, there isn't much to do here. Though it could be fun for children, for adults unfortunately could not say the same. There is one positive point : the go-kart. That was a fun activity compared to the others. There is a salad bar, noodle shop and pizza place opposite the theme park so no worries if you get hungry while you're there. It is also next to Seri Resort though if you want a cosy cabin feel that is more private you can try staying at Basecamp guesthouse just around the corner.

We spent 4 nights at the Seri Resort in Jeju from 10 - 14 Oct 2015. The room was spacious with a queen and single bed. It came with a private balcony facing the World Cup Stadium. The room was very clean and we had no complaints whatsoever about its condition. Air con was working well too. Daily local Korean buffet breakfast is provided as part of the packaged. It was a decent local meal. The hotel staff were very friendly and assisted us whenever information was needed. English was reasonably spoken by them. The owner, Mr Eric Jang, was on hand daily and we did have a good acquaintance chat. The location of the hotel and its surrounding was pleasent. The eMart was about 500 metres away and easy access. Within the hotel compound was its Go Kart race track, a family themed park and its own tangerine plantation. 2 restaurants - one a pizza & pasta restaurant and a local Korean noodle house - made it easy for our meals. Overall a good stay.

The hotel is well located, very closed to the World Cup Stadium Stop (bus 600 takes you the Jeju airport) and eMart (big supermarket). There's also a convenience store in the hotel parking lot. The room was really spacious and clean. The drainage in my bathroom however kept making noise, everynight! It would have been nice if the instructions to use the air-conditioning unit, TV in the room and the massage chairs on the 5th floor were in English.I was really disappointed by the pool, it was tiny, a kiddy pool really, not even worth jumping in. There was no breakfast included in the price. All together not too bad but I realized later I could have booked a room in a cheaper hotel in the same area with better services.
