Yegreen Residence Hotel

Even though Jungmun area in Seogwipo is known for the high price resorts, there are plenty of reasonable lodging options in the surrounding areas. Yegreen Residence Hotel doesn’t look like much from the outside. In fact, we passed it at first as it looked like a residential apartment complex. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. We only stayed in Jungmun as it was about a halfway point from Jeju. Unless staying at a resort, there are probably better areas to stay for budget travelers.

I stayed here in Dec 2017 but forgot to write a review. This is a nice and clean apartment. Rates were extremely reasonable. Stayed for 8 nights in this apartment with my wife and 3 kids in 2 apartment units. Rented a car from the airport and drove from the airport to the apartment. Took about 45 mins with regular traffic. Location of this apartment is quite strategic being close to the Cheonjeyeon Bridge and park. We did some cooking with the kitchenette in the room. Cooking utensils were limited but was sufficient for a simple meal of rice and some dishes. Having 2 apartments gave us more utensils to make use. Only one issue we had was the size of towels provided. They were more like face towels instead of bath towels. But the management did provide a lot of these towels. My suggestion is to bring your own bath towels. There is a washer and dryer which you can use to wash your laundry. There is a ground floor covered carpark but the space is limited. If the carpark is full, you have the option to park along the road which is fine as well. I would recommend renting a car to move around if you're staying here as public transportation may not be too convenient. And yes the apartment had under floor heating which was great during winter! Lastly, its a value for money apartment and I would definitely stay again here if I visit Jeju again.

Nice and clean room, we were staying the twin sharing room, one of the bed is in the room, the other one is at the living room. Sound odd when, booking, but feel ok and comfortable while staying. Don't be push away as cause of the odd bed arrangement. Hotel facilitate in room kitchenette and washing machine. Noted some Mandarin instruction hidden in drawing (obviously is to for me) basically telling the tenant DO NOT USER washing machine. Location is not problem with us cause we were driving. Opposite of the hotel has some local food stalls, and market as well. You can park there if the hotel car park is full. Overall not much of complains. Definitely will stay in this hotel when back to Jeju, as long as they can maintain the good price :)
