Chungmuro Residence

Don’t stay at Merlin Hotel in Myeongdong. It is Very bad. There a much better locations in myeongdong like skypark. The staff here don’t even speak English. The facilities are small, and the staff is not helpful at all and are very rude. Not a hospitable place. AVOID!!!

I stayed for 2 nights. First of all, don't expect much in terms of hygiene. The floor and shower drains hadn't been cleaned. Also, there was hair on the bed, and I was bitten by mites all over my body, so it was itchy and I couldn't sleep. I had the impression that Korea was as hygienic as Japan, but I found that cheap places are dirty. About amenities. There were no slippers or pajamas. Toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, conditioner, and body towels were available at the front desk and you could take them for free. It was nice that you could get as much bottled water as you wanted.

we book room for 3 person and the room is superb with good facilities, can see namsan tower from our room, very nice at night, uncle at reception counter is very helpfull, he even provide us with new bowl to preheat our food very recomended
