Coop City Hotel Stayco

Its a 3star hotel. Very clean and well kept hotel and nearby the oryu station - about 5 minutes walk. Plenty of Asians especially Malaysians. Breakfast is not great but enough to get through before lunch. For muslims, be careful as they also serve pork, so just stick to eggs, bread and fruits. There are only 2 lifts serving the hotel, so the wait is long especially when there is a tour group. The lobby is small and there is a convenience store as well. Overall happy with the accomodation and the staff are helpful too.

The hotel was situated behind a row shops and there are a lot of shops, mini market, bakeries, eateries, streets foods and a convenience store just beside the hotel. There are a few cosmetic shops also. The surrounding areas are quite good. The only set back is the hotel. Some floors hallway lesding to rooms are in total darkness. We booked 2 rooms and it was not next to each other. One room, the electricity kept tripping and ned to remove and re insert the card back into the slot. One nite it tripped about 5 times. Complained to the front desk, they couldnt rectify the problem. Housekeeping was bad. The mugs that we used were not washed, the basin, water cant flow smoothly.. Breakfast was horrible. The so call restaurant where they served breakfast was packed with guests. It is so small to accomodate the guests and to my surprise, we have to place out cutleries and place it into a big container. We stayed there for 3 nites and we only ate there once.

Although this hotel is not right in the middle of the city centre, it is actually a pretty decent hotel to stay. Friendly & helpful staffs, nice free breakfast ,free wifi and the hotel is within walking distance to eateries & Oryudong station.
