Jamsil Guest House

The guest house was easy to find; and, the staff was amazingly helpful! They spoke English so I didn't have to rely on my faltering Korean. They helped us with everything from giving directions to helping us order pizza for delivery! The guest house was very clean and comfortable. I will absolutely stay there again next year!!

I stayed here several times throughout the 3 weeks I traveled around South Korea. You can't beat the price of staying here, especially since it is close to the metro (so you can get around Seoul easily) and you have your own private room/bath. I was thinking about staying at a hostel for just a little bit cheaper, but booked here instead and am very glad I did! The owners were friendly, extremely helpful with directions and luggage storage, and most importantly, my room & bath were spotless. The breakfast was comparable to other guest houses although they actually had butter for their toast (strange perk, I know, but after eating similar breakfasts everywhere I stayed, I really looked forward to buttering my toast, lol). Highly recommend Jamsil if you're looking to save money but not compromise safety & cleanliness!
