Always book the Han River view hotel room, the view during sun rise and sun set is simply breathtaking. You will feel like you oversee the whole of Seoul , with the traffic running along the highway, the staff are attentive to my requirement . I went for their buffet breakfast. It was decent mix of western and Korean.

Book through Expedia. Arrived by taxi, the car pull-up was so crowded that the bellman was not functioning. I booked a Vista Walkerhill, so I walked into the Vista building thinking it was a checkin there, but apparently the check in would be done at Grand Walkerhill, so I had to go back and forth in vain.... check in is smooth, go to your room yourself. Perhaps because it was the cheapest room, it's smaller than the one I used to stay in at W Walkerhill. Cleaning and maintenance of the room is no problem. Linens and bed comfort are normal. I was troubled when a machine that disinfects glasses with UV rays started talking in Hangul at night.

Pros: • Amazing river and city views, very clean rooms, and consistently friendly, efficient service. • Even though the hotel was at full capacity and the lobby was crowded, check-in was surprisingly smooth and quick. • Service was probably the best among comparable 5-star hotels we’ve stayed at in Seoul. • Breakfast quality was good and operations were well managed — it never felt too crowded. • Shuttle service between the lobby and restaurants was frequent and convenient. • Located in a quieter, less chaotic area of Seoul, which made the stay more relaxing. Cons: • Holiday rates were quite high for the overall experience. • The gym closes at 10pm, which felt a bit early for a hotel of this level. • The room design includes several fragile elements — doors can get stuck easily and some panels feel delicate. • While the room offers great views, exterior design makes the window a bit opaque, so it’s not a completely clear view. • Breakfast was good, but they charge for 4-year-olds — which felt excessive considering young kids typically eat very little. • Compared with other true 5-star hotels in Seoul proper — Conrad Seoul, Andaz Seoul Gangnam, and Grand Hyatt Seoul — the breakfast here was the most forgettable, room quality ranked lowest among the four, and overall it didn’t feel like the best value. Overall, a comfortable and well-managed hotel with excellent service and strong views, but pricing, room quality, and overall value may not match other top-tier options in Seoul.
