Would stay again!! Staff - very friendly and helpful despite the language barrier - went above and beyond and make our stay enjoyable and always had a smile on their face. Price - great price given the location in central Myeongdong and the facilities offered. Room - all the facilities you need (including a kettle in the room and a communal kitchen next to reception on the 5th floor), toiletries, private bathroom, not much storage but you can just about get by. Location - excellent! A few minutes walk from the shops and street food vendors. Got everything you need including a corner shop right on your doorstep.Hotel is also only a few minutes walk to Myeongdong station which has links to most lines including the airport via Seoul Station. As well as the subway, there are also numerous bus stops nearby with links to sites such as N Seoul Tower and the fish market. Downsides - only downside is the bathroom - although it was private in the sense of having one in your room, the bathroom itself is "see through." It would be good to have some sort of curtain for a bit of privacy.

This place is just a few minutes walk from the busy shopping scheme of Myeongdong streets and also it doesn't as busy or crowded as it is on the main street. Its just a few minutes walk from the subway exit and also the airport bus stop. There are a lot of convenience stores and eateries nearby. The hotel starts on the 5th floor and has a lift, and some rooms are on the 6th/7th floor. The kitchen and water dispenser were on the 5th floor so had to go down a few time to fill my water bottle. Mine was on the 7th floor right on the corner which light was off. The room was small, might be a bit hard if you have to open a large suitcase, but had a cupboard, mini fridge, and a clean bathroom. I went in the summer and their airconditioning is nice and cold and they provided hairdryers too.

The name of the hotel is changed to Young Residence, 5mins to the big street leads to myeongdong station I love this place even room was not that big Thanks for earlier check in, and the room has the ground heating system that i love Unluckily i moved to itaewon on the last night n had another room in itaewon, and it wasn't good as this room at all! Location is great Room is cozy n warm for winter, it also has A.C and hair dryer
