Vabien I Serviced Residence

Booked 2 nights in December 2018 in room 1301 executive 3 bedroom suite. As you can see from my previous reviews I travel the world and have traveled extensively in Seoul Korea for 20 years. This hotel is in my top ten of worst hotels I have ever stayed in. Hotel itself is older and has not been updated. Location is not bad, but not close to main attractions. I was too scared to visit the restaurant, so I cannot comment on that aspect. Price was too much for what you actually get. You can stay in a real national chain hotel for less and for better quality. $250 a night for horrible accommodations. Ok, the room and hotel. Entire hotel smelled of cigarettes and middle eastern spices. Picture yourself walking down the back alley streets of a U.A.E. spice market and that is what the hotel smelled like. My room smelled like that and also was extremely dirty. Floors, furniture, bedrooms and bathrooms were dirty, damaged, old and not clean!! Period!! As mentioned, I booked two nights but checked out after one night. I just could not handle the filth and smell. I lost $250 as the reservation was non-refundable. Warning! Check in is 3:00pm on weekdays and 5:00pm on weekends. I could not find reference to this on their website, so do not show up early. They will not make any concessions for you! I asked to speak to management but they were not "available". When I told the front desk I was checking out a day early, they seem unconcerned as to why and had no regard for my stay there. Buyer beware!! Beds hard as a rock. No individual air conditioner. Room temperature was extremely hot and no ability to change the thermostat. Just a few pictures attached for your viewing pleasure.

The serviced apartment is very near the subway station and there is airport bus to incheon airport right outside at the main road. Only need to travel a couple stops to interchange to other subway lines. But room itself is old and nothing much around the area.

I stayed in this place for the special event. 6 of us wanted to stay here (the place has three bedrooms) But the regular price was for 4 people ,so we paid extra €60 for 2 people. But when we got there, there were only 4sets of bedding. So we called front desk to get more beddings then they said we had to pay more to get extra beddings! So I asked what was the extra money for 2more people then? They said that money for only towels not beddings!! Who would think when they pay €30 extra per person was only for towel?? N pay another €30 for bedding?? It was ridiculous!! N the male staff who answered my call was very rude and he kept lying about everything!! Moreover I wanted to talk to the manager about his rudeness but he said there is no manager because it's Friday night and managers don't work on weekends either!! What kind of hotel managers don't work on weekends?? HE IS A BLOODY LIAR!! I sincerely advice to you.. Don't stay in this place..
