You can book apartments/rooms in this building via Airbnb, we did that and probably had better experiences as private hosts would take care of the place and give you the service needed. So I'll write the review on Airbnb, but as Seoul's hotels spaces are scarce and expensive, this would be a good deal for families. You would be in a much quieter neighborhood, so it depends of you like hustle and bustle or not. Convenience is everywhere in Seoul, there was a subway station a few steps away, as are bus stations and even the stop for the limousine bus to the airport. Gwanghwamun square is just 1 stop away using metro train or you could walk 15 minutes to City hall/Deoksungung palace.

Overall, the “service apartment” feels old and poorly maintained with very limited service available. Unfortunately, we encountered cleanliness issues in both of our rooms after check-in. There was hairs throughout the bathroom, along with stains on the toilet seat. Additionally, we found stains and hair on the bed linens and towels. We even took the initiative to clean one room ourselves, as we were quite concerned. This experience was far from what we expected, and it has left us feeling unsettled. **Regarding the linen issues, we reached out to our agent for assistance, and they contacted the hotel staff to change the bed linens for us.** —————————————————————————————————— ✅ Good location which is closer to Seoul Station, City Hall and Myeongdong. —————————————————————————————————— **The reception area may be unstaffed at times, or there might be two elderly men present. We chose to stay here despite the negative reviews as we wanted our family of 4 to stay in the same room during our short vacation in Seoul. Initial impressions we liked the size of the room. It has 2 Queen beds for the 4 of us and it also has a sofa nook for relaxing if you don’t want to jump onto the beds at the end of the day with your dirty clothes on. It has a kitchenette which we never really used but having an extra sink helped a lot especially for brushing teeth while the others are using the bathroom. There is a standing refrigerator/freezer which is not very clean and does have stains and a musky smell but we used it to just store our drinks and ice cream. There is a ton of closet space but very few hangers which is no deal breaker either. There is a combination washer/dryer which we could not really figure out and using the normal setting for the dryer left our clothes damp and we tried using only the dryer function but it just went through an entire wash and dry cycle again. Instructions should be left in my opinion. The bathroom has a lot of stains but generally clean enough for use. Location is just ok, close enough to tourist sites via subway or taxi but if you would rather be walking distance especially to a lot of restaurants then this is not the location for you. Overall the stay was suitable for our needs but if you prefer to be in the middle of any action in Seoul then definitely this is not for you.
