Agree it's a little hard to find, taxi went in a few circles. Staff weren't very welcoming either but that's love motels for you. The room itself was very nice and cleaner than other love motels I've stayed in. Awesome bathtub with jets and the toilet is in a separate stall from tub and shower which is nice. Lighting by the sink isn't good and the mirror is small if you're doing make up to go out to nearby clubs and bars. Overall great stay for the price in high demand district of Seoul. Would stay there again.

Pros: -Cheap for the area. -Great location. -Fun, creative décor. -Top quality bathroom fittings and perfectly sized bathtub. -HUGE bed with good quality bedding. Cons: -No wifi, but an outdated computer in the room which was difficult to turn on. -Hard to find initially (seriously, even the police tried to help and gave up!) -Fairly unwelcoming reception staff. -Slight smell of sewage in the hotel toward the end. Though we weren't sure if this was to do with the hotel or general pipe works etc. I would recommend this hotel to anybody, the pros far out-weighed the cons though I really think wifi and more friendly service could be easy things to fix in future.

If you're looking for a inexpensive place to stay in Seoul, I recommend you find a Love Motel. The Shinchon Y was great because the rooms actually looked and felt like you were staying at one of those 5 star big named hotels. Shinchon Y is also located in a great area of Seoul, really close to a subway and near tons of places to shop, eat and drink. (All in walking distance)
