Hotel Skypark Myeongdong I

Located at the centre of the shopping area, with street food alongside, driving at night time will be difficult. The airport bus stops nearby, about 5+ minutes walk to the hotel. The hotel occupies the upper floors of a retail building. My room is quiet, facing another residential building, do not hear any outside noise. I had a small room sleeping 3 people, no luggage rack and microwave, minimum countertop. There are 2 US power sockets but NO USB! There is a safe at the bottom. Furnitures and carpet are outdated but the room is clean and well maintained. Bed is on the firm side. There is a step up to the bathroom, about 2 inches. Shower head cannot change pattern or directions. Breakfast is great, good quality and cooking, including both western and Korean. You can choose different instant noddles, freshly cooked and delivered to your table. Both price and service are good.

Booked a room with twin beds. Room is quite small but clean. There is a small desk, TV, compact fridge, complimentary bottled water each day per person. There is a kettle you can boil water for coffee or tea. I like the fact that WIFI is exclusive to each room. Free breakfast included with this booking. There is a variety of breakfast items offered and grab n go sandwiches available. There’s only one washer and dryer. (5,000 KW each use). Detergent and dryer sheet available for purchase (1,000 KW each)Staff very friendly and accommodating. Location is very convenient. Right outside hotel entrance are many shops and food vendors. I’d stay here again. Btw, room at night quiet despite night market nearby.

It took a lot of time for me to think about writing a post-review. This time I went to Seoul on business, and as a result my ticket for the typhoon was cancelled. I had no choice but to spend an extra day in Seoul, and there was no place for this hotel where I stayed before. The overall feeling was okay, the last hotel stay was slightly unpleasant due to language issues, but couldn't help this part is really my personal problem. The check-in time for this family was after 3pm, and I arrived around 8am to edit the translator ahead of time, resulting in Mr Quan speaking Chinese. Helped us with the barrier-free storage of luggage first. Also advise where to rest your feet temporarily. And quietly told us that if there was a room we could help check in 1 or 2 o'clock early. We went to ask after 1:00 that day and were lucky enough to have a well-cleaned room. The room was very nice and had two single beds. It was probably raining all the time. It smelled slightly damp, but it was okay after check-in. The room is also big enough for two people with two suitcases exactly the size. Here's why Mr. Quan was singled out, first of all for sending us two umbrellas when they were busy at breakfast time and after patiently answering our questions about where to rest their feet, saw that we had only one umbrella. It was really nice to say it would rain these days and let us return it when we checked out. If I get the chance to come to Seoul next time, I'll choose this place.
