Hotel Sol

This is a functional 2-star hotel in a good location. It’s clean and the rooms are well maintained. There is also underground parking available but you will need to be a confident driver to use it as it needs a lot of maneuvering. Keep in mind also that this is quite a noisy hotel - you can hear your neighbours very clearly and the corridors are very narrow. The local seagulls also have a nasty habit of making a lot of noise but not much the hotel can do about that! All in all - if you don’t have problems sleeping and you want to stay in a decent location this is a good place at a good price. Shops and supermarkets etc all very close.

Nice friendly hotel, breakfast very good indeed, especially the tortilla. Excellent all you can eat buffet breakfast with large selection for €7 Perfect location for everything, except the station which is a €5 taxi ride. Would stay again, but ask for a back room as there is a noisy bar opposite the front, otherwise would have given 5 stars.

I'm glad I read the reviews of this hotel--I was looking for a place in A Coruña with free parking. Do not be put off by the graffiti on the front of the hotel which has spread down this whole short street! The hotel inside is great--very clean rooms, super helpful staff. Just pull up across the street and they will park the car in their garage for you (saving your nerves--tight fit) and get it out again. The beach and the walk along the water are just a couple of blocks one way, the old town and all the restaurants the other. And it is a great price. Really recommend this one!
