Parador De Santiago De Compostela

This hotel was very unique. the food was excellent, the rooms well appointed and the location could not be better. the only thing keeping this from an excellent rating was the staff at the check-in desk.

Exceptional. Building, environment, access, maintenance, sober classic and elegant decoration. Very professional staff. Comfortable and spacious rooms and facilities. One of the best restaurants in the country.

We were staying at the Parador at Santiago de Compostela and found this a wonderful alternative at the Parador to the more formal dining hall known as the Dos Reis. It is called Enxebre and near the entrance to the Parador. The menu was amazing, with competative prices and great quality that was matched by the attentive professional service that one expects at a Parador. Nice wooden tables and good lighting and no annoying background music. We had lunches and dinners there, sampling the best of Galician dishes, such as the octopus, the clams and the wine. We had all of our lunches and dinners here.
