Pension Mafer Bed & Breakfast

The bleakest place on the whole "Way." Dirty room with damp spots, dust. Luckily it was a few hours but we were in the cold for a broken window fixed with some tape.Owner without respect. He told that unfortunately it had broken the day before, but I booked the room a few hours before so he did not bother not to offer it for sale in this stato.si justified that they were a small hostal al chè I pointed out that it has the same prices as hotels of much higher category in the area (Hotel Lux). We asked to cancel the reservation free of charge to go elsewhere but he did not want or propose room changes. As a solution came to put some more tape on the broken windows. VERGOGNA!!!!

After 6 days of walking from Tui to Santiago we were delighted to find our accommodation. It was so central, rooms compact but spotless with snow white towels and sheets. The only blib was a lot of noise from either a local club or party on the street on our second night when little sleep was had.

5 minute walk to Cathedral. Clean and tidy. Good value for money and in addition one of few places you can communicate in English. The receptionist was very helpful guiding me about the local night life and places to visit.
