Playa de Quenxe

The hotel is south of town, near the beach. Each room has view of the beach and harbour. Our room was really spacious, it also had the kitchenette, so one could call it half way between a hotel and a motel. We really enjoyed the restaurant. There is no shops in the area, so if you want to cook, better make shopping before you get there.

Although the albergue is on the far side on Concubion, it’s still just a few blocks off the Camino Inglés. The albergue offers both dorm beds and a private room or two. We were the only guests there in April and had a lovely private room with shared bath and the greatest view of the water and city. The owners/hospitaleros were most gracious and helpful! A very pleasant continental breakfast was purchased in the morning. Several eateries are no more than a 10 minute walk from the albergue. In the morning, up the hill we went, and we were immediately back on the camino heading for Fisterra. It would be great fun to stay here during a busier time of year. We’ll be back!
