We choose this hotel for it's location and wasn't disappointed, it's right opposite the beach, the staff were all really helpful, the rooms were clean and comfy, a kettle in there would of been a added bonus! Food was plentiful and tasty The roof top pool was a real sun trap with a great view. Would definitely stay there again

After reading the reviews we were worried about staying here. Don’t be….we had a lovely stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was quite small but the beds were very comfortable and the room was cleaned every day. Location was excellent, right on the beach and 5 minutes walk from the beautiful old town. I can’t comment on the food as we ate out every day. Great hotel for a short stay. We upgraded to a sea view room, this did not disappoint.

If you are looking for an experience that combines oceanfront vacations with unexpected time travel... this hotel nails it. Starting with the good, which there is (and deserves mention): the staff is ten, especially Tony at reception, who is basically the MVP of the place, and the cooks, who make the buffet meaningful in life. The location is another tip: you are literally on the seafront, so the views compensate for any existential crisis that the room may give you later. And speaking of compensating, the rooftop pool with solarium is a wonder... probably the place where you will forget the most in what decade you are staying. In addition, the buffet includes water and drinks, a detail that today almost seems like a revolutionary act. Now, the... picturesque. The hotel seems to have been frozen in 1970, but not in charming vintage style, but rather “Tell me how it happened: survival edition”. Bathrooms need urgent reform; in fact, showering is a small game of chance where you try to guess if what you see is dirt or accumulated history. The bidet is an archaeological relic that could probably be in a museum, and the total absence of a fridge in the room makes you rethink basic vital decisions, like wanting to drink something cold. Bottom line: a hotel with an amazing staff, luxurious location and common areas that save the day... but with rooms and bathrooms that have clearly been anchored in another era. Ideal if you want sun, sea and a touch of nostalgia... although maybe not so much.
