Apartamentos Retiro Park II

We stayed, 3 people, in a one-bedroom apartment, More sofa bed. We slept Perfectly every night, well equipped and next to the beach, and with the pool just a stone's throw away. Marvelous. You have services like Supermarket very close, if not by car a few minutes away, For me it deserves a 10.

Very basic and dated apartment for a reasonable price. Located close to the beach, restaurants, bars and supermarket. Easy to find and access. The apartment was clean with minimum furniture and linens, but suited my purposes ideally which was to provide extra beds close to friends who were hosting us in Denia.

Extended family took two apartments (5 per apartment) for two nights in mid January at 114 Euros inclusive each apartment for the two nights (i.e. 57 euros per apartment per night) for family event. We were in Phase II. 1st floor entrance two level apartments with two bedrooms & shower room upstairs and kitchenette, lounge/diner and toilet basin downstairs. The apartment was clean, everything was provided (although the towels were really 'hand' towel size). I'd say functional rather than comfortable although the beds were perfectly OK. The downstairs living area had a double sofa bed for which sheeting and stuff was provided. There was a TV downstairs with some sort of satellite box. We didn't really use the apartment for anything other than sleeping and breakfast. Downstairs was fairly 'compact' but in the summer the balcony would add extra living space. The apparentness are located one block back from the main coastal road behind the shops/bars at el Poblet about 1km beyond Aldi (for those who know Denia). Its a 2-3 minute walk to the beach and a 2 minute walk to the shops/bar at El Poblet. The complex has a swimming pool (which obviously we didn't use but seemed perfectly pleasant although I imagine it gets crowded in season) and gated parking. For us the location was perfect and the apartments worked well.
