We stayed at this 4-star hotel and the culinary experience was very frustrating. The hotel has the Mar en Calma restaurant, which serves both guests and outside customers. This creates obvious saturation in the kitchen; they clearly cannot keep up and the result is organizational chaos.
Wait times between courses are intolerable; for example, one day we waited 20 minutes for the fish from the children's menu, and on another occasion, they served us the tiramisu completely frozen, which made us reject the dessert. The lunch menu is fixed and without flexible alternatives. Breakfast is also deficient: very slow coffee machine, zero variety of fruit, and no options for intolerances (gluten-free or lactose-free). Although the place is beautiful and the staff is attentive, it is not prepared for families since it lacks children's entertainment. It does not correspond to its category.
