Parador De Javea

We enjoyed our recent 8 day stay at the Parador, our second in four years. The staff throughout are excellent, helpful and efficient. The Parador's sublime location never loses its attraction, with so much to look at from the guest rooms, over the lovely gardens, across the bay. The room we stayed in, as before, was large and comfortable, but in need of some refurbishment. The bathroom was looking tired and various aspects of the bedroom, doors, drawers, lampshades, curtains etc need quite urgent attention. Breakfasts were excellent. The guest charge for the car park at 15€ per day is ridiculously high; ironic when drinks and snacks in the bar are quite reasonably priced. We will return, but I hope it will be to a sensitively refurbished Parador with more fairly priced parking.

Spectacular service from Luciana at breakfast, it couldn't be done better as she saved us from not being able to have breakfast to being able to do so due to her competence; regarding the hotel itself, it needs a renovation from the textured walls to the bathrooms, although it is not bad

Bad experience, cleanliness is conspicuous by its absence, mirrors with splashes, dirty floor, and they don't even know how to make the bed. The room with the keys is extremely uncomfortable, ridiculous and old television. They served us nuts with ants, the breakfast service was very sparse, they didn't even offer hot food or coffee; it's the only place we've visited with such poor service. In short, we will definitely not return, nor do I recommend it.
