La Cinuelica

Lovely area, slightly elevated from the sea so cool breezes. Wide roads, well kept and quiet but 15 minutes walk from lovely beaches, walks and restaurants. Beautiful communal pool and gardens. Car only required for heavy shopping.

We stayed at a property on this urbanisation and to be honest we were bored senseless. Unless you want an all day breakfast or to drink all day, there is nothing to do or see. You are surrounded by buildings and cranes for as far as the eye can see. There is no scenery locally unless you want to drive out into the countryside which is fairly barren The area is full of English people so trying to practice Spanish is virtually impossible. The property needed upgrading. The 2nd bedroom was rammed full with bunk beds and a put you up bed which was so uncomfortable. The towels were old and the sun beds were mostly broken. We come home 2 days early as we had had enough. There are far nicer places to go than this housing estate for a holiday.

We rented a two bed flat in this development. It was well equipped and well located for local bars, shops and beach. There is an excellent, clean, well maintained communal pool. Ample parking. Daily rubbish collection. Terrace sun trap. English tv. English speaking locals (many retired English). Safe neighbourhood. Good for children of all ages.
