Palmera Beach

Chaotic! We arrived on a Monday, we had check-in at 4:00 PM, and it was not ready. We got in 2 hours later. We booked it through Booking, we had a reservation for a room with a view of the sea and the pool, and they gave us room 13, which was the room of horrors; it also already had tenants (a cockroach, ants, and mosquitoes). Naturally, we complained and they moved us to 343, which was supposed to be better, and yes, the views, yes! And there were no bugs. But everything else was just as bad. They made us waste a day, waiting to see when we would make the change. The kitchen was quite basic with no oven or dishwasher; in our case, it also had no coffee maker, and it took two days until we managed to get one. The kitchenware was super poor, impossible to cook for 5. Restaurant The kitchen of horrors!! There were 7 of us; 5 of us ate from the set menu and two from the à la carte menu. The set menus were €15.90, with no drink included, only 3 starters and 3 main courses (where they include macaroni among them). Very poor, scarce food. Wait time, desperate. Super unpleasant and rude waitress, plus she had no idea how to describe the dishes and tell us what was in them... The sodas without ice, we asked the waitress to bring us some, she did not take it well at all, and she took the glasses mixed up, putting her fingers inside, and brought us the same ones again with her fingers inside. The instant flan with a drizzle of caramel syrup. Anyway, a disaster!

If you want to make sure you ruin your vacation, this is the perfect place. Honestly, one of the worst places I have been, both for the location and for the services, which basically do not exist... the conditions they offer are far from what you pay for. Advice: go anywhere else.

Advertised services that do not exist. Irish Pub, closed. Terrible restaurant and in the middle of high season it closes one day a week. Inappropriate pool hours, it closes at 2 which is when you come up from the beach and opens at 4 in the middle of nap time. The rooms have broken blinds that they don't fix. Constant problems with opening the room doors. Apartment handover with poor cleaning. Old and dilapidated furniture. You can't even have a coffee for breakfast, you have to travel more than 200 meters, etc. etc.
