Apartamentos Torreluz

A corporate hotel. It's within walking distance of the sea, but there's no area or hanger in the room to dry beach towels. Therefore, if you're going for a beach holiday, towels and swimsuits tend to stay wet. The room has a small kitchenette, but the supplies are insufficient. The cleanliness is excellent. The hotel is centrally located, close to the market, and easily accessible by public transport.

Very central, with convenient parking very close by, not large but nice with essential services, ideal for a few days' stay. Not noisy. Good value for money. Friendly staff. Close to the city's places of interest.

I stayed for just 2 nights here, on an all too brief visit to Almeria. To get the keys to the apartment, you have to go to the reception at the Torreluz hotel immediately opposite. A very friendly welcome awaited me there. My apartment was on the 8th floor, and gave me amazing views over the city, including the castle walls. I'm pleased that there was a lift though! The apartment itself was very spacious, and very clean and well-maintained. Free wifi, air conditioning, and 2 televisions (one in the bedroom) made this a very comfortable place to stay. A small cooking area, with hot plates, microwave and fridge proved very useful, with several supermarkets close by. The location could not have been better, right in the centre of Almeria, walking distance to all the sights. At a very reasonable price too, I consider myself very lucky that I found this place. Definitely recommended.
