Catedral Almeria

The hotel is located right in the center of Almería. Convenient in theory as a location. The staff is very kind but you cannot sleep. In the Cathedral square, besides organizing various types of events that involve crowds of many people in the square and loud music, there is a bar that closes very late with many people drinking and yelling until 2 in the morning. The hotel windows all overlook the square or nearby narrow streets and are not well insulated. Furthermore, even in the lobby of the hotel itself, people gather who talk very loudly, applaud, etc., and the noise reaches the rooms from the stairwell... even in this case I am talking about late hours of the night. In short, if you are night owls, Hotel Catedral is the hotel for you. If, on the other hand, you sleep at night (or try to), then avoid it carefully.... Terrible experience that we will not repeat.

Cristina attended to us wonderfully; I hope to always have the luck of being served by waitresses as attentive as she is.

The Catedral hotel is a friendly and welcoming place situated in the heart of Almeria City. The facilities are clean and spacious and the staff professional and responsive, my husband and I will be staying here more often. Special mention to all the helpful reception staff (particularly Rosario) who ensure that guests experience a comfortable and tranquil stay.
