Apartamentos Dream Sea

We stayed there in the very last days of their season, so very quiet, but reception were super helpful and the room was delightfully clean and fresh. Even had a bodyguard at the pool. 2 mins walk to the beach. All the amenities within the room that you could need. One minor neg was the beds were very very hard.

The apartment was clean, fresh and light. Everything you need is there. The balcony was huge. The parking is right there in the house. We liked everything. The only inconvenience is that the entrance/exit is opposite the seaside, so you see the beach but you need to go a bit around to get to it.

This is a strange review to write. The actual apartment is ok, large, nicely designed, love the folding patio doors to the balcony where you could open the whole thing up so balcony becomes part of the flat. Lots of storage, the area is ok, quite quiet when we were there, large swimming pool on site, reasonable walk to the sea and a bit further for the centre but on the whole good. There was free Wifi in the room. The problems come when you talk about the contents of the apartment. Very cheaply furnished, bedroom comes with a bed and 2 bedside shelves, that’s it nothing else except built in cupboard. The list of things lacking which we have had as standard in apartments rented before is long, IE no kettle, no iron, no hairdryer, coffee machine with no jug (useless) 1 very thin pillow each, 3 hangers in the whole apartment, no corkscrew (come on guys this is Spain where screw top wine bottle don't exist) only one wine glass, poorly equipped kitchen in general, I could go on. One of the worst design features was the hood over the cooker, what type of idiot designs and installs a cooker hood that is about 160 centimetre high (about 5ft 4 inches) from the ground. I am 180 cm ( 6 foot) every time I moved from the sink to the cooker right next to it I was in danger of cracking my head on it, in a week twice I drew blood and several other times banged my head. It is a shame more attention to detail and this would be a very nice apartment. At the moment it is not. There is a charge for use of the car park 5 euros a day, we parked on the street outside all week with no problems, during busy time there is a free car park at the end of the road about 200 metres away.
