Hostal Restaurante Alba

Very disappointed with our visit. The service was surly and unwelcoming, and an employee in an apron, who was eating at the bar, was especially unpleasant. We knew this restaurant from before and the contrast is huge. Under the previous owner, always cheerful and friendly, such an experience would have been unthinkable. A real shame.

This isn’t just accommodation — it’s an experience straight out of the silver screen. The walls are filled with memorabilia and photos from the many legendary movies filmed nearby, and the owners are true enthusiasts who treat every guest like part of the story. Their passion for the Old West and its cinematic legacy shines through in every detail. The rooms are simple, clean, and full of charm — perfect after a day exploring the Tabernas film sets and old shooting locations. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and steeped in nostalgia. You’ll find yourself chatting with other fans over a cold drink, swapping stories about favourite scenes and actors. It’s rare to find somewhere so authentic, where history hasn’t been polished away — Hostal-Alba captures the spirit of the Western and keeps it alive. A true hidden gem for movie lovers and adventurers alike. Five stars without hesitation!

We stayed 6 nights, everything was great, I would repeat 100%, comfortable beds, cleanliness of 10, quiet and perfect location 20 minutes from different beaches. The owners were very friendly. The bar has a wonderful terrace to have beers with tapas.
