Valle Del Este Golf Resort

Been to this resort a few times over the years and received excellent service, However be warned do not book in the junior golf season as the young are left unsupervised to run around the hotel on an evening. Kicking doors, screaming and shouting all through the night. Evening reception staff when spoken to just reply ‘well what can we do!’

Desert like area,some of the staff were rather sullen and unhelpful.Rooms were ok,a bit dated.Veiws from my room were mainly car park,with a partial view of the ninth green.At the rear ,had views of the pool and golfcourse which were nice.The golf course was a test and good condition.overall golf course good,hotel not so good.(food not good).

This was a golfing holiday with friends. We have been many times and it is fantastic value. Although the greens had just been holotined it did not detract from the holiday. The Hotel is just about 4 star but the staff elevate it somewhat as everyone from Fransesca in the Golf section to Jenny Rocks, (restaurant) Martha and Julieta in the Pub bar/restaurant were most welcoming, helpful and friendly. For golfers the course has some very challenging holes but it well set out with changes being undertaken each year. Buggies were pre booked. There isnt much going on in the evening but there are a few bars in the commercial centre nearby. The Hotel food was typically mediteranian with lots of salads plus cooked meats always plentiful, Breakfasts were very good with the normal egg station, fruit and beans and hot drinks machines etc. The rooms have had a makeover and there are now kettles provided and the cleaners do a good job. All in all, for the price you pay (golf included) this is great value. If you do not play golf perhaps it is too remote for a family holiday.
