Very central hotel. The best part is the staff, very attentive, professional, and providing practical solutions for the stay, luggage, and scheduling availability. It is a shame that the rooms are very outdated, with poor locks and inadequate lighting. It serves as an emergency solution, but I would not recommend it for working or staying for a few days in Gijón.

When you arrive in Gijón we park the car in the Jovellanos parking lot in front of the hotel, the machine gives you the ticket, you park the car and the ticket takes you to reception to get the discount ticket, you stay the day at 15.50€. They gave us an outside room first and being so close to the elevator we would not be able to rest, I asked for change and they gave us an interior that smelled bad, we had to buy an air freshener. At least the room was clean, size is fine and the bathroom is complete, but the beds are bulging, they ask for change the mattresses and pillows are low, beware of the bathroom banquet that the legs come off and you can fall. It has ceiling fan for heat and heating in winter that turn on at 20 hours, we do not go cold but on very cold days I do not know how the temperature room will be. You hear everything between rooms. One day we arrived in the afternoon at the room and had not had our towels replaced, we had to order them at reception. Breakfast is continental, it consists of juice, coffee, toasted bread with butter, jam, tomato and ham, great little grilled croissant, cookies type Maria, industrial cupcakes and other pastries that is in a small corner where you can serve yourself, if you are looking for something else do not pay for the hotel breakfast. It is a very basic hotel that is worth the most is its situation but would not return, I do not understand so good reviews it has, I expected it better and with more exterior rooms as in the photographs that the hotel shows on the internet, the part of the building that faces the square does not correspond.

A very good location, hotel very scarce in amenities, I would call it hostel but if true a very reasonable price. The attention only received the reception since all the meals I made outside and except one of them that was a little apathetic for the position that performs others well. Clean up well.
