Gijon is a nice city but in general Hotel are very old. This one is not an exception. Bad located (far from the centre or the beach) it has very old-fashioned rooms and facilities. All furniture and decoration is very old. Bed and pillows are not very confortable. Lobby is scary and bar is like dark. The staff was nice. Bathroom was ok but not enough amenities (just shampoo/gel). I asked for an iron and they didn't want me to provide me one cause was very old and dirty so the reception manager was scared I damage my shirt. Actually she was right, the iron was totally a mess. In the area is easy to park if you get with your car. Nice views (a park). It was expensive, 70 euros por a small room in July in the first floor. I would say it should be maximum 45.
