Parador De Cangas De Onis

Wonderful stay at the foothills of Los Picos de Europa. This is truly an historic hotel with excavations and conservation going on! Try to stay in the monastery rather than the new annex which is attached. This must rate as the best hotel that I have stayed in.

An absolutely fantastic Parador located in an old monastery. Beautifully decorated and clean throughout. The reception staff were absolutely superb (Claridges standard!) The surrounding grounds were beautifully kept, the food in the restaurant excellent. Highly recommended!

The environment is incomparable, but that Asturias has as standard. The hotel has the gray hair of old age, although correct. However, the key to any business is always people and in this case, there is no human team that makes you feel NOTHING, making this parador a place without soul, that borders on unwillingness and bad forms.
