Zen Balagares

It is not a 4-star hotel by a long shot, it should stay at two. Meager breakfast and always the same. The cleanliness leaves much to be desired, windows full of spider webs, broken floors and chipped baseboards, air conditioners that do not work, sinks that do not drain (5 days giving notice and on the 6th they appeared), all the bathroom accessories rusted, shower doors that do not close, leaks in the middle of the hallway all week (with a bucket that overflowed and soaked the whole carpet, with the smell that entails), bathroom lights burned out, some days without our room being cleaned and when we complained they told us they clean it at 8 at night... and I could go on for a while. Lunch and dinner are very mediocre both in quality and quantity and they charge a fortune for it, better to eat something outside the hotel. In the spa, half of the buttons do not work and it is not worth what you pay to enter... everything very mediocre. I will never return. The only thing worth it is the staff that serves you in the restaurants, especially Santiago. The rest is not worth it, take my advice... oh!! And in the hotel there are 220 children from an English camp who do not stop screaming and being a nuisance... there are many of us who complain, even the neighbors who live there... every 15 days a new group goes... so no vacation at all, it has been the worst in a long time. I will never return.

The room was very clean with good views, the spa is excellent with many types of jets, and the staff was very friendly at the reception, in the dining room, and in the café. The area is very quiet and close to Aviles and Gijón.

We went two days and all great. The room, the spa, restaurant and buffet.
