This was a much unplanned visit as Los Emillios next door was unexpectedly closed and we we staying at the nearby campsite so didn’t want to travel out. No problem fitting us in without a reservation. For a hotel restaurant, many of which normally lacks atmosphere, this was lovely with amazing views of the bay. The service was efficient but it would have been nice to have a few more smiles. The food was the star. Menu Del Dia for £31 euro a head, inclusive of house wine, water, bread and scorpion terrine followed by some lovely regional choices which was good to see. The Dorada and Pigs Cheeks were perfect. The deserts were gorgeous albeit there was no way we could finish them. This was a real unexpected treat and amazing value.
