Palacio Arias

Rating: 9.0. I am not giving it the 5th star due to the lack of air conditioning (though they do provide fans if you request them), but it seems unfair to give it only 4. Phenomenal breakfast with homemade pastries and maximum hygiene. Very friendly staff. Very pleasant garden area. Very well-maintained spaces. Very quiet hotel with no noise, and central at the same time. Given the heat wave, it would have been nice to have air conditioning, but I understand that in this area of Spain it is not the norm in a 3-star hotel due to the climate, which is usually more benevolent. On the other hand, since the rooms are exterior (I have gone on two occasions during the hot season and I have stayed in both buildings), opening the window or balcony solves it, and it is even cool at night. Regarding the complaints about the hotel's style, they must come from people who book without seeing the photos first, because it is exactly the same, even more so, than how it appears in them.

We stayed at Palacio Arias, everything was very good. The staff, receptionist, cleaners... very pleasant. I will return.

Absolutely deplorable stay. Zero accessibility, with a lot of steps (in several sections), a very old and tiny elevator, everyone complaining about the immense amount of mosquitoes in the room (see photos of all the blood left on the walls and bathroom after killing them), staff not pleasant at all, barely any soundproofing (you can hear everything from other rooms), filth accumulated next to the bed (see photo with dust bunnies and hair). At breakfast, the glasses and plates had all the bugs sitting on them (see photo). Super old, not appealing at all. From the parking lot to the hotel, carrying suitcases up stairs since there is no elevator. No air conditioning in the middle of the heat of the day!! Bathtub with shower curtains. There are no blinds and a lot of light comes in. Super small rooms. Never to return. We prefer new, clean places where you don't have to climb so many stairs to get to the elevator, with friendly receptionists. Furthermore, at a luxury hotel price.
