Surprisingly good hotel. Tasteful decor, very friendly staff. Our bikes were allowed in the hall. The dog was also welcome. We have booked through their own website and that saves a lot. All in all a very good value for money

I stayed three nights in this hotel, and the price, including breakfast, was 133€, having made the reservation directly on its website, where it was my second visit to this city. •) ADVANTAGES: -) The location, very central, a few meters from San Lorenzo beach. -) The attention from Arancha, the receptionist of the late shift, very correct and friendly in the treatment. -) The cleanliness, impeccable, and more considering that it is a pet-friendly hotel. -) The single size room in its fair measure. It does not feel overwhelmed, and also, the hotel has warm tones and a very particular decoration that make it very cozy. On the other hand, the bathroom more spacious than expected and with more than enough amenities. -) Breakfast is simple (already advised on its website). It is not a buffet, as it is a closed menu which includes coffee, juice, a piece of fruit, a croissant with ham and cheese and a cupcake. I saw the price in the elevator, and it said it cost seven euros, so I don't see it at all expensive. •) DRAWBACKS: -) Soundproofing, as you hear both conversations and the use of the bathroom in the next rooms, although I was lucky to have low noise neighbors. -) You cannot adjust the thermostat of the room, as it appears to be a centralized system. -) Both the mattress and the pillow I found soft for my taste (but this is already a rather personal matter). To all this, I would add a few suggestions: -) I would put the bed somewhere other than just under the window. The first night it was windy and the cold could be seen coming directly to the head, as the window did not insulate well even with the shutter down. -) A plug next to the bed would not hurt. -) Change the shower curtain to a screen, as the fact that it sticks to your body is not pleasant. With all this, I value hotels above all for the quality of rest and soundproofing, and while there are aspects to improve, the value for money I find remarkable, and hence the four stars. I would repeat and recommend this hotel if I returned to Gijón.

Hotel very well located on the second line of the promenade of San Lorenzo beach. This has a negative point which is that it has blue area, but it comes better price than the nearby parking. The room was clean and comfortable. Important to note that it does not have air conditioning, at least the attic on the 5th floor, so if you catch a few days of heat it is rating (they leave you a fan, yes). If anything, paste what several opinions indicate: the shower has a curtain and the water, however careful you put it, comes out. Treatment of reception staff of 10. I can't say the same about the breakfast staff, who without being rude could be a little more "soft." The right breakfast. Point in favor that is a (very) petfriendly hotel. I'd come back.
