Ideally situated on the very edga of the town. Welcome was warm and friendly, room was clean and tidy, seemed like the bathroom had recently been refitted too and the shower was great.
We opted for B&B and the selection was excellent at the buffet.
AC in the rooms too which was a blessing given the heat we've endured in Europe this year!
The roof top bar is great too, serving food too and with an amazing view across the harbour

I took my daughter to Spain to celebrate her 18th birthday and graduation from high school and had booked everything through Expedia never having been to Spain before so I was a little anxious--I have some weak Spanish skills but ZERO Catalan, so was nervous about communicating, navigating, etc. Even before we left Colorado I'd received a welcome message and information for scheduling taxi transportation from the airport through an easy app they included in the email called "Welcome" transportation. Upon arrival, sure enough the transportation was in communication via Whatsapp, we found eachother and he took us to the hotel. All this to say, it was my first feeling that I could relax :). We got to the hotel apx. 5 hours before check in and they were happy to hold our bags. We explored the area for a bit and when able to check in we opened the door to a beautiful, CLEAN, room and took a much needed nap lol. Then off to explore the Gothic Quarter which was immediately next to and behind us. Had no idea how much there would be to see and taste all through that area--so the location of the hotel is PERFECT. Not to mention that it was also right across from the piers where we could walk to the beach!
I can't say enough good things about the staff--from start to finish they were all so helpful. Just a couple of examples, I'd miscalculated our ticket time for the Sagrada Familia and those tickets you have to get well ahead or you won't be able to go--I'd thought our time was a 4:00 and it turned out it was at 11:30--just 30 minutes from when I double checked our itinerary! I thought 'there's NO way were going to make it'. We hurried down to the lobby, explained the situation, and that amazing person at the front desk (I WISH I'd gotten everyone's names) said she thought we could make it. She hurried us out to the street where she flagged us a taxi and we barely made our time but we made it and I can't say enough what a once-in-a-lifetime experience seeing (FEELING) the inside of that incredible work of art was, but it would not have happened without her (thank you if you're reading this!!!). And thank you also to our other friend at the front desk--I feel terrible I didn't get your name too!!--who helped us find a shoe store for our Opium/DJ Snake adventure lol!! (that's a story lol. Didn't think I'd end up in a club in Barcelona with my daughter, but hey--it's DJ Snake!) -- and I hope you have the best trip to the states next year to see your exchange-family for the wedding!
Seriously, every person we encountered in our 5 night stay there was warm and so helpful. And just so much more--the rooftop restaurant/bar and little pools are perfect--the view from there is amazing, all of the people we met working the rooftop were incredible. You never felt hurried and could just relax and soak it all in. The food on both the rooftop and the breakfast buffet was beautiful, fresh, and just overall delicious. I would absolutely pay the extra for the breakfast again as it was just so nice be be able to float down each morning, have my cappuccino, green juice and mimosa :) and a whole selection of beautiful fresh fruits (and veggies!), meats/eggs/beautiful cheeses; danish variety and breads; yogurts and other delicious surprises. I loved all of the food we had exploring, but it was really a peaceful way to start each day before getting back out into the energy of the Quarter, activities, etc. The lobby is beautiful and I know I'm missing things--but all that to say we would stay here again in a heartbeat. In short--just book it lol (and I wish I'd taken more photos to share--sorry!)

We had an outstanding experience at the hotel, the hotel staff was truly welcoming. When we arrived, Alicia, helped us find a dentist to help my husband with a dental issue. That was truly above and beyond, and we appreciated her help so much!
The room was comfortable and clean, and we had a great sleep before leaving the next morning for our cruise!
