Catalonia Park Guell

This hotel is ideally located within 10min walk from a metro station (L3) which takes you straight into the centre of Barcelona. The hotel has a lovely bar, roof top pool, a tiered sun lounging terrace and ample sized breakfast room. The staff were friendly and our room was ready from 12pm which we were able to access straight away. The family room had two bathrooms which made our morning start so much easier with teenagers. We were also provided with pool towels to use, which meant that after a long day exploring Barcelona we could take a refreshing swim overlooking the city on the roof.

the rooms are not at all like shown in their photos. The pool is not as big as they make it seem. Breakfast is very expensive, you pay €17 per person. Very slow regarding room cleaning; we left the room at 8:00 in the morning and returned around 3:30 PM, with beds still unmade and towels still not changed. Zero security, you see many ambiguous people entering and leaving the facility without staying there. Not to mention the fact that there isn't even a balcony.
