Canal Olimpic

Lovely hotel with a pool and room with a terrace. The pool is large and shaded in the later part of the day so you can enjoy without too much sun/glare. Residential area so quiet but walking access to the town and seaside plus taxi distance to the city. (Bus and metro nearby but we didn’t use these, also bikes at the corner to rent)

This hotel is very well appointed with its cafe, restaurant and wonderful pool. The family rooms are extremely well designed with plenty of space in each of the two bedrooms and a decent size bathroom with shower over the bath, along with decent wardrobe space. Our room had a small balcony, which was a nice touch. The beds were comfortable, the linen was good quality and the rooms and communal areas were spotlessly clean. We found the staff extremely efficient and helpful and we appreciated our early check in and the taxi they organised for us to depart early in the morning. The surrounding area offers much to enjoy and, even if you just stay for a night on your way into or out of Barcelona, it’s a lovely spot the find some peace and quiet along with great facilities.

Our stay was very positive thanks to the great staff of the hotel. The management and Ariadne solved a small problem with breakfast very quickly and professionally. Rooms (201, 205 and 117) are perfectly adapted for wheelchair guests, with bathrooms at the right height. Although the facilities need a little technical renovation, excellent customer service makes it worth staying here. Highly recommended!
