Stayed mid July 2026, was initially concerned regarding previous reviews saying rooms are small, that are not, they are on par or better than most inner city rooms we have experienced, there was no balcony in our room as it faced into an inner inaccessible courtyard, as did most rooms, but the room was spacious enough, good en-suite, comfy large bed, iron, ironing board, tv, safe, coffee machine, for a few nights what more could you ask for ? other comments regarding the size of the rooftop pool, we loved it, shallow and small yes, but like being in a great big bath with a great view, there was a bar on the roof and also ground floor but with so much around why bother, hotel ideally placed for sightseeing, close enough to walk to all gaudi sights, la Sagrada Família, harbour, if your pretty fit, if not, a short taxi ride, there are plenty of taxis, Food was good, the choices were many, wife is a lactose intolerant coeliac and there were choices for her but the staff didn’t really understand that she requests hot food made fresh, to avoid contamination, you pick a sausage up containing gluten, then leave it in the bacon tray, which she then uses, she’s ill for a week, we chose to rise pretty early to make sure the food offered was not cross contaminated by inconsiderate / uneducated guests. Good cold choices, cheese, meat, salads, yogurts, The cooked choice was mainly meat or eggs, done several ways for each I admit, for me, a veggie, I had eggs, eggs, and eggs, and filled up on bread. To invite an Englishman, especially a Yorkshireman, for breakfast, and not have hash browns, baked beans and HP sauce is unforgivable. Would I recommend ? Yes, I would, wholeheartedly,

Horrible experience. Would never stay here again. They wouldn’t change over my towels. Didn’t refill water. Said they had parking and then didn’t inform us we would be charged and Charged us 75 euro for parking.. super rude staff. Arrived at breakfast 10 minutes before closing and they told me they were closed and I could t eat after I had already got my food and sat down and had 10 minutes before they were supposed to close anyways. Wouldn’t bring my Uber Eats upstairs or bring anything to my room.

The hotel is in a good location, but the rooms are very small. The one I had, 303, was dark even in the morning, and in front of the room, there is a wall. The bathroom has a nice shower but lacks a bidet, which I find outrageous. Breakfast costs an additional 20 euros, and the next day at 3:40 PM, the room had not yet been cleaned, and of course, I didn't have it done because I returned tired... two nights there, and I wanted to escape! The rooftop with that tub they call a pool is not inviting if you are over 8 years old. And they were very slow at check-in.
