FGA Gracia Apartments

I paid the full booking amount in advance through Booking.com, including all taxes and fees. However, when we arrived, the hotel refused to let us check in unless we paid an additional €44. The staff claimed it was a “deposit” or “tax,” even though my booking confirmation clearly said “includes taxes and fees.” We were forced to pay on the spot, and no refund was ever issued. This is unacceptable behavior for any hotel. Guests should not be pressured into paying extra after full payment is already made.

I haven't been anywhere near as bad as this. Esta la calle Riera de Sant Miquel, 74. You come and there's no one to serve you. All by phone number that's hanging on the door. Turns out the room door can be opened with the app that comes in email. It doesn't work well either. Some people were calling to help them open the door. We went into the room and it turns out that he was just carrying a 135x190 double bed. Person told us by phone that availability of separate beds are subject to availability. What I don't understand you pay for and then there isn't. I asked for at least one more blanket because the one with the bed is not suitable for two. He told me tomorrow and nothing. Great cold - very tight windows. I had to sleep in my pajamas and sports shoes now in March. Furniture just right. A chair. No cupboards or table. Just a rack. Fridge either. I think it's an image Barcelona doesn't deserve. I saw people there Italy, Japan etc. I don't think I deserve to pay 495 eu for two four nights either.

Had a great stay overall! The room was cozy and clean, with a nice view. However, a couple things could’ve been better. The staff was friendly but a bit slow at times. The breakfast options were limited. Still, I would recommend this place for its value!
