Great location, extra-friendly service, beautiful hotel inside & outside. Rooms were a good size & breakfasts were very good. Great art gallery right below hotel & can see from entrance. Would definitely stay again!!!

First time staying at MO Barcelona and super impressed by the hotel. It's located right in the centre of the city so I was worried about street noise - however, we had a garden room, set at the back of the hotel overlooking their rear gardens. And it was super quiet, one of the quietest hotels I've every stayed in. And their airconditioning was effective and also very quite, clearly someone had thought of this when they designed and built the hotel, so bravo to them. Breakfast was very good, lots of variety and excellent service. Only two minor issues, the doors in the bathrooms don't close 100% (leaving a few cm gap) and the wardrobe cupboards didn't have a soft-close function on them (I kept forgetting and drove my partner mad as if slamming the doors on purpose...). But because of the service, and attention to detail re the noise issue I think 5 stars is deserving here. Would return.

It was my wife's first visit to your beautiful city and my first after over 20 years and the MO offered us the perfect reason to plan our return in the very near future! Thank you for taking care of us like guests of your own home. If the team represents the soul of the hotel, then the MO Barcelona has a warm, kind and robust soul. You have an incredible team who are obviously passionate about what you do - not just seeing this as a job providing service but a calling to give the best hospitality to every guest who steps through your door. Yours must be one of the best and most hardworking concierge desks I have come across. The team are always at their stations, their fingers at the ready to search for the best restaurants and find those last minute tickets. Every concierge needs a Maria! She is such a bolt of energy and a bastion of local knowledge - even when she is working consecutive shifts in the evening and the following morning! I saw multiple guests going to her to thank her for her priceless advice. And she leads a great team including Danny who is quite the opposite in terms of his temperament but just as effective and efficient. The front desk colleagues, bellmen and hosts at the breakfast venue exhibited the same level of energy and commitment. Every one of our questions and requests were accommodated with a warm smile and kind gesture. On our first night, our Chromecast did work and Jiji personally came up to our room and patiently fixed the problem - at 11pm at night! This is exactly what sets the MO apart from your peers - a fanatic desire to make sure your Fans are 100% comfortable. We really enjoyed your elegant and practical rooms with the French balcony overlooking the iconic Pg de Gracia. The bed was so comfortable that we almost missed breakfast every morning! The water pressure of the shower was excellent - one of the most important qualities of a luxury bathroom in my books (nothing like starting and ending the day with a literal blast!). And the hardwood floors completed the city pied-a-terre feel of the set-up. Finally the shared spaces including the restaurants and gym were all beautiful and well-designed: fitting for a property in Gaudi's birthplace (he would have been proud!). We enjoyed a breezy evening at the rooftop bar, an elegant postprandial nightcap at the Banker's Bar and regular exercise in your well-equipped gym. The MO Barcelona had a high bar to pass after our excellent experience at the MO Madrid and I am so delighted that you have managed to make this an equally fabulous and FAN-tastic four nights. We can't wait to bring our boys and our friends back!
