Air Penedes

We are regular guests of this hotel because we work frequently in the area with our company. This time we had 3 rooms booked at the AIR PENEDÈS hotel. As soon as I arrived I checked that the air conditioning in my room was not working. I communicated it at reception and the girl told me she was “pointing it”. The night went exactly as I expected: impossible to rest from the heat it was in the room. Returning from work the next day, I commented again at reception and there came the surprise. The receptionist's literal response was: “OPEN THE WINDOW!” So, without more, with a total lack of professionalism and education. When I rebuked him for the way he answered, he told me I could call the manager. I told him to go ahead. Well, the attendant arrives and her response was even worse: “With the day it’s done, why do you want to turn on the air?” Sincerely, regrettable customer service. It’s not just that the air conditioning didn’t work, but that the unprofessional and unpleasant way to treat regular customers. After this experience, we will certainly stop staying here and do not recommend it at all.

Bare room, small bed and very hard mattress, poorly cleaned room, smelly pillow, long hair on the floor in the bathroom and bathtub. I don't ask much for a 4 star at 80 euros a night, but at least a little cleaning...

At the entrance the first thing you see is that it has 4 stars and nothing further from reality. It makes you wonder if the person who decides how many stars a hotel has is okay or paid. Maybe I need an audit. Where to start, as soon as you get in the elevator you notice the carelessness and lack of cleaning, stained floors, the ceiling on the fourth floor strips that are falling down. The air conditioning does not work, we moved from room to room that also did not work. The bathroom and the bathtub dirty with hairs and the curtain smelled damp stale. Stickers on the table where the TV is. The only good thing I can say is that the bed was comfortable and surprisingly clean.
