Located so close to the citycenter - Ramblas, Port, Drassanes- not in an unsafe area. Great value for money. No lift but a very friendly and helpful staff. Clean, bright, no air conditioner. 24hrs/365days

Pros: Great location - a block off Rambla, a block from the Drassanes metro. I never felt unsafe, I didn't see any seedy behavior. Size - we had a three bedroom, two bath, plenty of space, with a kitchen (stove top, microwave, no oven), laundry room (washer, no dryer), living room (dining table, tv, and couch was a day bed, so another person could sleep there). 24 hour front desk. Inexpensive. Free WiFi - worked the entire time Cons: As others have noted, so very, very loud. There are residences in the area, I don't know how people who live there full time handle it. People in the streets, carousing every night until 5 am. Maybe more soundproofing on the windows would help. Hot water was hit or miss in the shower, even with the water heater fully working. The one bathroom also smelled a little unpleasant. If not for the noise issue, I would whole-heartedly recommend, and if you're someone who will be out until 5 am yourself, you won't mind, but that would probably keep me from staying there again.

Staff very very helpful and friendly.We arrived early and although the room was not ready our bags were put into the back office so we could go out and check the city.The apartment was pretty basic,clean with pretty comfortable beds.The location was good for La Rambla and the harbour.Not the best location at night noisy and a few prostitues,not really family friendly.Saying that if you're after a base just to sleep after a long day and a few beers its just the job.I would stay here again
